My Sweet Colleague

I have been doing some sort of little business at work lately. One of it is selling products from Avon. I always bring along with me a brochure so that my colleagues could just browse through it. They pretty much add up to my savings and I really enjoy doing it!

I have been selling Avon products mostly to my female colleagues. I was surprised one day because a male colleague was perusing through the brochure and eventually told me that he's going to order one of those cute lingerie. He said it was for his wife. I thought it was sweet of him. He is by the way one of my friends at work so he wasn't that shy when he asked to buy the product and also talk a lot about his life. After I jotted down his order, he talked about his wife for a while and told me that she works as a nurse in one of the hospitals here in Manila. They're married for 2 years now and are hoping to have a baby soon! He said they are really working hard to have a baby this year! That is why him and his naughty nurse do whatever it takes to have their dream family. Well, what else could I say but wish them luck!

Hooray! I got 400 drops yesterday!!!

First of all, I would like to apologize to my EC droppers whom I haven't dropped back today especially those who does the chore frequently. The reason is I got a total of 400 drops today!!! Hooray to that!!! It really made my day! I only realized it when all of a sudden I've already reached the maximum- 300 drops yet I still haven't finished dropping back to yesterday's list of droppers! It's really overwhelming knowing that a lot has been reading or at least took their time to have a glimpse of my blog. I just hope you guys continue to visit and won't grow tired of my stubbornness!

Today is Friday and it's a pay day for the most of us! Let's spend our money wisely and not forget to thank God for all His blessing! Take care y'all!

Get any better with this boredom!!!

Training has been so boring this week! I don't know if I'm being stubborn or just playing dumb but all the things that our trainer teach in class just seem to disappear in thin air. I'm having problems understanding the codes (maybe because there's a lot of numbers and commands that needed to be memorized) and the lessons just don't seem to sink in my head no matter how I tried! I'm already beginning to think that I am indeed dumb! Worst scenario is when Shellani, our trainer, calls my name and asks me questions about the things just discussed and I can't even give her a correct answer. Sometimes I don't give answers at all. I will just say, "I'm sorry I don't know the answer" just to not keep her and everyone in class waiting. I tried so hard not to sleep during the discussions but my thoughts flies away in the neverland!!!

What a shame, isn't it? I don't have any problems with our beautiful trainer at all. She's kind and does a great job as a trainer. It's just that I am not that interested with the account. I hope I will change this attitude next week. I'd better do that or else I won't get any better with this boredom!

I need to lose weight!

I need to lose weight!

I always say that statement but I'm always lazy on doing even a few exercises first thing in the morning. And then I would say I'll do it on weekends but then I wake up late most of the time, trying to get more sleep than what is necessary.

Losing wait is not at all that easy for me, then! Not unless I would get myself enrolled in a gym. That will absolutely motivate me since I will be spending money just to burn calories!

Hah! I have a lot of plans and actually a lot of great options for me to lose wait. But the question is, do I have the time? Or can I commit to really doing it? I hope I could because if not and gain more weight, then I think I'm going to get myself a Stimerex ES which is a pill to help me burn unnecessary fats! With that, I won't have to put much effort on losing weight!

Movie of the week - Gran Torino

A grumpy Korean war veteran Walt Kowalski (Clint Eastwood) just lost his wife. While still mourning for his wife's death his two sons who were like strangers to him wanted him to move to a nursing home and later on kept on asking about who he would want to leave his properties when he dies especially the '72 Gran Torino . This made him more irritated of them.

His neighborhood is resided by a lot of Asian people and Walt despises them especially the Hmong family living next door. He despises everything around him: the dirty lawns, the culture of the Asians and the gangs that seems to be around all the time. Be it Asians, Mexicans and black American gangs who act like they own the neighborhood. That is why he keeps his M-1 rifle cleaned and ready at all times.

The family next door consist of the teenage son - Thao (Bee Vhang), the man in the house yet the underdog, his sister Sue (Ahney Her) who always does the talking, his mom and eccentric grandma who don't speak english at all.

Being an underdog, Thao does most of the house chores and was always picked by the gangs on the street. He was later on persuaded by his cousin Spider (Doua Moua) to join their gang so that noone could harm him since they're gonna be there to back him up. His intitiation was to steal Walt's 1972 Gran Torino.

The night of the intitiation was interrupted since Thao was caught by Walt before he can even start the dirty deed. He ran for his life after seeing the gun pointed at his face.

The gang went back to Thao after a few days and forcefully dragged him from their porch to assault him. Thao's and his family's pleadings are to no avail until Walt came out of his house with his gun pointed to the perpetrators and ordered them to get out of his lawn. They fled out and left a threat for Walt to watch his back.

After that incident, the Hmong family was grateful for his help and gave him a lot of food as a sign of their grattitude. They kept on thanking him but Walt just told them that he just wanted the gang out of his lawn. This didn't stop the Hmong family from giving him food and when the neighborhood heard about this, more dishes and flowers were displayed on his porch. This agitated the old man and as grumpy as he is, he threw most of the presents to the garbage bin except the food.

While Walt was on his way home one day, he saw Sue about to get harassed by three black men. He saved Sue from the thugs and threatened them with his pistol. Later on Sue got fond of the old man and she introduced him to the Hmong family.

Eventhough Walt is grouchy and irritable with everything, Sue seem to get used of this even the cussing of the old man. They became friends and Thao was later on volunteered by his family to work for Walt since he admitted that he tried to steal Walt's car. The old man doesn't like the idea at first and tried to decline the offer. But when he learned that it is part of their culture and that he's going to offend them if he says no, he was left with no choice. He eventually made Thao clean up the neighborhood.

Eventually Walt learned to like Thao. He basically taught the boy to become a real man. He even got him a construction job and a girlfriend named Youa whom Walt refer to as "Yum-yum". I like the part when he was insulting Thao for not asking "Yum-yum" out when he got the chance.

There was this young priest whom Walt doesn't like as well- Father Janovich (Christopher Carley). He shows up at Walt's house and tries to convince him to go the confession since this was Walt's wife's request before she died. Walt refuses to do so.

Walt get's more concerned of his friend Thao when he learned that the gang still kept on pestering the boy. They even burned his face with a cigarette and destroyed all the construction equipments that Walt bought for him. After learning this, Walt beat one of the member of the gang and told him to stay away from Thao. But this just started the angst of the gang. The following day they shoot Thao's home and wounded him on the neck. Walt who was watching TV at home at that time hurriedly went to his neighbor to check on his friends. While attending to Thao's bleeding neck and made sure that the mom and Grandma were okay, Sue came home that night, beaten and raped. Walt ran back to his house punching the walls with his bare hands.

Thao was so angry that he wanted to take revenge for what had happened to his sister. He was even more pissed when he saw Walt staying relaxed the next morning. He just wanted to go and kill the gang but Walt hushed him and told him to relax for a little bit and go back in the afternoon. At that same day Walt went out to do his monthly haircut and bought himself a suit. He even went to confession that day and left Father Janovich guessing about what he's about to do. The priest was suspecting that it's going to shed blood that day.

Thao went back in the afternoon ready to hear the plan made by Walt. But then Walt locked him in the basement after he's given a gold star. Walt went to the house where the gang resides. Knowing that the gang won't stop from harassing the Thao's family, he decided to end it right then there. After a few words for the gang, he attempted to light his last cigarette. The gang thought that he was pulling a gun out of his jacket's side pocket, they fired gun shots at him. He was killed right in front of the porch with all the neighborhood watching! The gang were arrested for that, of course. Thao and Sue arrived on the crime scene and watched the bad guys being handcuffed and they were later on informed by the police that these men are going to stay in jail for the rest of their lives.

A lot of people went to the funeral and mourned for Walt's death including his two son's and their families. In his will, he donated his house to the church and his Gran Torino to Thao which angered his family.

Walt basically ended his life to give Thao and his family a peaceful life. Although the movie was tragic, it still made me smile. Clint Eastwood did a great job starring as Walt and also as the director and producer of the movie. I give him an A! Lol!

Setting Goals...

I have been bombarding myself with a lot of work lately. I got my 8-hour job here in Makati, I got 2 blogs that I attend to everyday, sell sandwiches and doing Avon business at work. I am not complaining because I definitely love what I'm doing. Although they take most of my time, I don't mind at all because I have plans!

My goal for this year is to be able to invest for gadgets. My top priority is to buy a portable computer so that I won't have to borrow my cousin Michelle's laptop. I want to have my own so that I can just go online whenever and wherever I want.

My next goal is to be able to save money for home based business. I love my job here in Manila but I would love to spend more time with my family in Mindanao. I miss my mom and my brothers and relatives back there. Besides, having my own business has always been my dream even when I was a kid.

Setting goals is actually a good thing. With these goals, they make work inspiring, fun and exciting! I just hope continue to be motivated by these aspirations and that I can achieve these goals!

Time to chill out!!!

Today is a Friday! The most awaited day of the week! Work hasn't been stressful this week though. Well, as of today, not yet. I was even having fun with my colleagues. Most of them were my team mates on my previous account so I didn't had a hard time adjusting in the class.

I actually came in late on the first day, yeah that was a shame! It was definitely not a good way to start the week. I was quite surprised because I wasn't reprimanded by our trainer when I got there. She even greeted me with a beautiful smile when I came in. I was quite relieved by that. But then after the class, she called my attention and handed me a memo for my tardiness. Well, I thought I really could just get out of that huh? Unfortunately I didn't and because of that I'm gonna make sure it will never happen again! That's what I get for being such a sleepyhead! Lol!

Anyways, my work starts at 6 in the morning and ends at 2 in the afternoon. I like my schedule right now because I have normal working hours at last! I just hope we would retain this shift once we take calls.

After work I usually do my EC rounds at our office pantry since the Internet speed is way too fast. I couldn't snoop around at work anymore because the account is strict when it comes to Internet access since we will be handling Fraud Early Warning account for a credit card company. Too bad Internet access won't be allowed at work anymore!

After a few hours of dropping back and reading posts of my favorite bloggers, I usually go straight home and try to continue updating my blogs. I actually tried updating my blogs this week but the Internet on our apartment never worked at all. It was really frustrating. Good thing we got the pantry at work that provides free Internet access for us, employees! That's where I spend most of my afternoons.

I miss my previous account though. Not only because I got comfortable with my job as a technical support agent but also that account is pretty lenient when it comes to accessing the Internet. I guess I'm just addicted to blogging lately. Everyday of this week, I always look forward to 2pm so I can get to see my blogs and drop EC cards! Hahaha! Lainy wasn't wrong when she said that once you start blogging, you definitely can't stop!

It's Friday and I'm looking forward to doing my laundry and DVD marathon. Night out? Nah! Not in the mood! Or rather not my thing! I'd prefer attending to my blogs. :)

I just thank God it's Friday once again! It's time to chill out and have some fun!

May we have a great weekend!!!

Clumsy me

Even as a kid, I was already known to being careless when it comes to keeping valuable items. I often left those things somewhere and forget to get them back or sometimes I lost them along the way. Most of them were jewelries that my mom gave in some special occassions. I always get reprimanded once she learns that I lost a pair of earrings or a necklace - almost all my jewelries, actually. That is why she keeps some of them in her jewelry box. Up until now, I don't wear any kind of expensive accessories because of my clumsiness. I remember how furious my mom was when she discovered that I lost the gold watch that she gave. It basically took a long time for her to figure out that I lost it since I've been giving her lame excuses. When she found out that I don't have the watch anymore (well it was because I kept on telling her the same old excuses), she then told me that I won't be getting any kind of jewelry from her. I would have to buy them on my own expense if ever I want to have any kind of expensive accessories. Since it has been a while that I haven't worn one I decided to invest for them soon. I am planning to purchase a watch like one of those Swiss Army watches. I just hope and pray I will never lose it! I also want to prove to myself this time that I am going to overcome my careless attitude. So help me God!

Long vacation is over

Long vacation is over and I'll be back to work tomorrow. It's pretty ironic because I somehow feel excited about work this time! As most of you knew, I will be training for a new account since my previous account which was Time Warner Cable/Road Runner technical support had a recession and our site was the one affected. Blame it to the ongoing global crises!

But then I have gotten over the hang of losing TWC. It's time to face new challenges on the next account. This time we will be dealing with a financial account and I will be learning more about it tomorrow.

For now I'll go ahead and prepare for tomorrow's first day back to work! Goodluck to me! And to my dear readers.... Have a supercalifragilisticexpialidocious week!!! Whew! That's a long one! Lol!

Dream of building our home

My mom wants to have a home built in the lots that she bought in General Santos City. She is actually expecting us, her children, to decide about the planning, the design of the house, the architect and carpenters to hire to work the house. Basically, she wants us to take charge of everything since we will all be living in that house, anyway. I would really love to build that home but then knowing my mom, we will definitely argue a lot about the finances since she still have that close-fisted attitude.

We will surely fight about making her pull out cash from her savings. Since we will be building a house, money is a necessity for important furnitures to little parts like industrial knobs or all other tools that we will be needing for the construction.

In that case, I'm going to have to stay here in Manila and earn a few dime so that whenever I want to go back there in my hometown, I have enough savings to use if my mom decided not to finance anymore. I would really love to live in that house if that happens. And I'm going to make sure it's gonna be a very good place to live in and that we can really call it home.

Camiguin Escapade III

It was our last day on the island. It shouldn't have been if one of our companions would'nt have scheduled his flight back in Manila the following day. We already envisioned that we won't be able to explore all the wonderful places of Camiguin on that day. Yet we tried to make the most out of the hours left for us,hehehe. After breakfast we took a plunge on the inviting pool of the resort...

And then took off to see the Sunken Cemetery and Guiob Church Remains in Barrio Bonbon, Catarman... It was quite spooky when we went boating around the Sunken Cemetery! Lol! And guess what? A lot of divers would go snorkeling in this side of the Island. Good thing we were'nt informed about it or else my companions might have preferred snorkeling here. Geez! As for me? I will never swim if that would have been the case!

According to the folks we spoke with, the Old Catarman was a small town buried when the Old Vulcan errupted. By the way Camiguin has 7 volcanoes that's why it's called the "Island Born of Fire". Because of Volcanic erruptions and massive land movements, the beautiful Island has become historically rich and is full of natural wonders.

Last but not the least splendid place that we went to was Katibawasan falls. The falls was surrounded by big trees and big ferns. According to the people who takes care of the place, the Waterfalls measures 250 feet high.

Camiguin Island is indeed full of mystical charm. My experience to that place is a total embrace to mother nature. There were still a lot of places that we missed and I'm sure I'm going back there and try all the other adventures like mountain trekking. Diving and snorkeling? Uhmm... I'll see if I can do it the next time! Lol! Thanks to Czarina and Cliff for this wonderful experience!

Camiguin Escapade Part II

The first thing we did after we arrived in Camiguin Island was finding a place to stay for the duration of the vacation. In a few hours of driving around, we finally decided to settle in Bahay Bakasyunan sa Camiguin. It's a very nice and cozy place.

First itinerary was to go snorkeling on the White Island. My companions changed to their wet suit and were very excited about snorkeling, I contented myself with my swimsuit! Lol! I wasn't enticed with snorkeling because I am scared of seeing weird creatures underwater! hahaha! When we reached the White Island, Czarina kept on convincing me to go snorkeling with them. I tried to swim with them but then when I saw corals and a few wholes underneath, scary imagination crept in my mind. It really frightened the hell out of me! I went back to the shore and sun bathed instead while I waited for them, hehehe. Silly Czarina woke me up with 2 blue starfishes in her hands. Guess what? I got scared of them too! Lol!

Teejay, me and Clifford

The Gang!

Overview of the White Island

After they got tired of snorkeling, we went straight to Ardent Hot Spring Resort. We got really relaxed because of the warm temperature of the spring and the beauty of the resort.

My bestfriend is showing off her big butt!!! Lol!

That day was tiring yet fun! After we ate dinner, we called it a day because we were all exhausted. There were still a lot of places to go to. I went to bed that night still excited about the excursion for the following day.
There's still part 3... Lol!

Dream and relax a little bit!

Although I get a little bored with my on going training on the new account, I still get a little stressed. Mainly because I get a little nervous since we are about to take a few calls this week. I hope and pray I would be able to take those first few calls with confidence. Phew! If only I can get away and get relaxed in a one of the resorts of Westgate! Lol! I'm just dreaming. I just want to get relaxed once in a while! It's as if my vacation a few weeks ago wasn't enough! Anyway, it wouldn't be bad if I escape the hustle and bustle of the city life, right? So continue to dream and relax for a little bit, Ally!

Camiguin Escapade Part I

I had a really busy weekend so it took a while before I can post about my Camiguin Escapade. As you all know, I did had a great time in that paradise-like place but the trip going there was really exhausting! But since I'm with my bestfriend Czarina, the tiring journey is still filled with fun!

Savoring the moment of road tripping...

That's Clifford

We're on the road... we're moving place to place! Lol!

With BFF Czarina...

The 7-hour trip going to Cagayan de Oro City included a lot of stop overs, hehehe. Everytime we see beautiful sites, we can't help but do some photo shoots especially in Bukidnon Town. It's a cool place where pine trees grow.

Aren't we there yet???

We left Davao City around 1pm so we arrived at Cagayan de Oro City around 8pm. After eating dinner, we spent the night in CDO and left around 7am the following morning. It was a 2-hour trip going to the port where we rode a barge (which is another 2-hour ride) that brought us to the Island of Camiguin. Hehehe, that's a total of 11 hours if you do the math! Pretty exasperating, right??? For the record, that's the longest travel I've ever done! Good thing Clifford, who is Czarina's boyfriend, brought his car. That lessened the agony! LOL!

After a long drive, we deserve this! hehehe

Pretty Czarina while waiting for the barge...

Camiguin Island here we come!!!

We reached our destination at last!!!

To be continued...

Just in case!

Summer is coming up. A lot of my colleagues are now planning for out of town escapades. Since I've gone to Camiguin, I suggested the place to them because they will be planning to go in group. I've also mentioned beach home that we stayed in when we were in the Island since the place is like those Outer Banks rentals. They were quite impressed when they saw the pictures on this blog and my convincing stories about my great experience at Camiguin, of course!

As for me, I'm still weighing my options. Like I've mentioned on my other posts, I have to consider my priorities. I really would want to invest on gadgets this year. Nature trips and traveling might be postponed. But I'm still not sure yet. I can still travel, I guess. It only has something to do with budgeting, right? So I still might reconsider the travel this year! New swim wears should come in handy then, just in case!:)

Faucet issue

Plonk... plonk... plonk... This is the annoying sound that our faucet here in the apartment make when we forget to squeeze it tightly every time we turn it off. The sink beneath it is a stainless steel and it always gets our attention every time the faucet drips. Even when we are about to go to sleep, we still have to get to our feet and check the faucet just to make sure it won't drip and disturb our slumber. It's really getting more annoying lately. We've already told the plumber about it but it seems like our complains fell on deaf ears. Our water consumption has been becoming more expensive because of this problem. I think this should be brought to the owner of the apartment's attention so that he can have it replaced with one of those Kohler faucets. See? I can't even make a good post with that dripping noise in the background! This is really getting into my nerves!!!

I'm On My Way Home!!!

Guess what, everybody??? I am on my way home from my trip to Camiguin Island! Lol! After my bestfriend Czarina's persistent prodding, I was convinced to just go ahead and make the most of my vacation in the wonderful island of Camiguin. Geez! The experience is so wonderful! Camiguin Island is indeed a paradise!

I really miss my blogging chores! My dear cousin Ellaine and Sarah were the ones dropping in my behalf. Thanks for the efforts girls! Don't worry, I bought some cute souvenirs from the island! I hope you'll like them.

We just spent the night here in Cagayan de Oro City. Later today we will be continuing our journey back home. Another long drive. Phew! But then the experience in the Island is worth the trip! I will be posting more about the escapade when I get home. More fun and pictures to come! I'll see you soon!!!

My late 2009 resolution...

I have been into traveling lately. I just realized that I didn't enjoy those travels that much. One of the reasons is that I didn't really planned for them. The vacation was an abrupt decision. I really wasn't planning to go home since I'm trying to set up my priorities. I have to start investing for important stuffs and try to save money for my sake. But when my best friend Czarina told me about their plan of taking a vacation in Camiguin Island, it made me think twice about saving! I immediately got excited about the vacation and booked a flight for my homecoming right away.

I'm not saying I'm having regrets on my decision with the vacation since I enjoyed every bit of it but then it would have been more fun if I had everything planned. Funny thing is right after I booked my flight, I immediately bought a new travel bag without even thinking about the quality of it. Worst is, I bought an expensive one! If I had only known, I would've bought the affordable Samsonite luggage available online! Same goes with buying my pair of new shoes. If I just went around other malls here in Metro Manila, I would've found cheaper pair of sneakers!

Well, that's the kind of impulsive buyer I am. Not only with buying stuffs but also with my decisions. I should find a better way to change this kind of attitude or else I won't be able to save! That should be my resolution for this year. Hah! My resolution is pretty late, ain't it? But it's better late than not try to change at all! Lol!

Fickle Minded Me

I'm in Davao City right now. I had a tiring 3-hour ride from General Santos City after the rendezvous with my brother's family at KCC Mall this afternoon. I came here with the purpose of meeting my bestfriend Czarina and friends tomorrow and go for an adventure in Camiguin Island which is going to be a butt-aching 8-hour ride from here. Geez! Just imagining the agony of the trip already exhausted me. Plus the fact that I haven't had enough sleep from the holiday craze made me change my mind the last minute! Hehe, my bestfriend Czarina is always a victim of this inappropriate behaviour. One minute I like something and then another minute I would want something else! hahaha! I'm really sorry friends! Good thing Czarina knew me better and understood my abrupt decision. Phew! I really thought she'll get mad at me at first.
I'll be spending time with my old time friend Nimfa here in Davao City instead. I know it will still be fun even if we won't be able to go to Camiguin Island. We might end up going to one of the nice resorts here. Yeah, yeah... I know it would've been different because it was supposed to be my first adventure in Camiguin. Well, someday I know I can visit that place. Just someday!

Perhaps, perhaps, perhaps!

I always dreamed of owning a car. It basically started when I was in college. I joined a marketing group which sells a particular brand of product for food supplements. Our marketing strategy was called networking or it is known as pyramiding marketing strategy. It's like I get recruited and the one who convinced me to join gets his commission and the one higher than that person will also get a profit from that recruitment. And basically, in order for me to earn from that marketing scheme, I also need to entice someone to join and sell! Not to mention there is of course a big amount of money involved just to get registered as a member.

Once we were part of the group, we have to learn how to sell, of course. Trainings and different kinds of marketing strategies were taught to us. And in order for us to get motivated, we were asked to make goals or envision our dreams. All of us dreamed of having our own houses, big savings and of course, everyone wanted to own a car. We were even asked about the span of years that we think we're going to reach these goals.

I was 18 years old at that time. My answer to that question was 10 years. I am 25 years old now yet I'm too far from reaching those dreams. And that marketing scheme was short-termed. The product is still alive but the marketing scheme, I don't think so.

Yet I'm still not losing hope. I still want to make those dreams come true. I know I can reach them in time. Who knows, when I turn 28, if God permits, I could actually get one of those dreams come true. What about that dream car first? That could still be possible, isn't it? I know it could be expensive once I own one because I'm sure I still have to be spending for the car maintenance and auto insurance. But it would still be nice if I can go to places whenever I want to with comfort and convenience. It is really fulfilling to make those dreams come true. And I know I really have to work hard for them. For now, let me just say - perhaps, perhaps, perhaps!

How I Spent My New Year's Eve

Spending New Year's Eve with my family and relatives at Tupi, South Cotabato was splendid! I really had a great time with them. The most exciting part was when I initiated some games for the kids. Funny because I was like the Santa Claus for the moment since I was also in charged of handing a few prizes for them. The adults also had their share of fun because they enjoyed watching the kids play. The favorite was my niece Aying who kept on crying everytime she loses a game. She's the youngest among the kids. The grandmas were to her rescue everytime she cry her heart out. I was instructed to let her play along just to heed her from crying! Hahaha! See how they spoil the kid???

Ten minutes before the clock hit midnight, everyone gathered for a prayer. Afterwhich food was served and all of us enjoyed the yummy delicacies prepared. We also enjoyed the firework displays.

There were still noisy firecrackers and my brother and cousins are still singing on karaoke when I went to bed. I was so tired yet I still have the smile plastered on my face. At last, I was able to celebrate New Year with my family!
What about you? How did you spend your New Year's Eve?

Better be ready than sorry...

I have been taking prescribed drugs since the day I was diagnosed with tuberculosis. I am currently on the fifth month of medication and so far has been doing fine.

As I have mentioned before on this blog, the first two months of being sick was very painful not only physically but also financially. I have spent a lot of money for the medicines that I have been taking from the first day of diagnosis.

Good thing is I had myself enrolled on a health card and also got myself a discount card from one of the leading drug stores here in the Philippines. These kinds of membership cards actually helped me save ample amount of money during these times of sickness. If not for them, I must have spent a lot for doctor fees and any other hospital fees. I also enjoyed the rewards I get for using the discount card. These are the reasons why I make sure I always have these cards handy at all times. You just don't know when you'll going to need them. It's better to be ready than sorry!

Hair flaunting!!!

After I got my hair done last night on my favorite salon, I went straight to buy my groceries nearby. When I got in the store I was about to back out when I saw a lot of people on queue at all the cashier's area! But I wasn't in a hurry anyway so I decided to just go ahead and start putting my groceries in the basket. I just had my hair blow dried anyway so why not flaunt it a little bit? Hehehe... I remembered the hairstylist asking me if I have a date or if I was going to a party last night since I decided to have my hair done. I said there's no occasion. She was quite disappointed when she learned that I'm just going to sleep on my new hair style that night!

Anyway, while having those thoughts in my head, I was surprised when I saw the queue shortened when I was about to pay for my purchases! Good thing the store uses barcode scanners. It indeed lessened the burden of waiting just to have your groceries tallied! And it's getting late anyway. The store was about to close! Too bad that was the end of my hair flaunting! Lol!
