Training Is Over...

Training ended last night. I'm not sure if I can still remember whatever was taught during the training! Grr! Most of the time, I was asleep! Blame it to the super cold air-conditioned room. And myself for being stubborn. :(

I hope I won't mess up my upcoming orders and do my job well! So help me, God.

Another Manic Monday! :D

It's another Manic Monday! :D

I was really busy last week. Aside from work, I had a friend whom I spent my time with during the weekdays and joined some activities at Church that's why I wasn't able to update my blogs. I didn't even have the energy to go online last week! Whenever I get home, I just wanted to go straight to bed and get enough sleep.

I still have a lot of things to do. I want to chill and have some fun. I want to go out and shop or play billiards with friends. I haven't held pool sticks for quite a while now! Geez! If I can only extend my weekend which isn't possible. Sigh.

Anyway, whether I like it or not, I will have to deal with Monday and the succeeding days of the week! LOL! I'm looking forward to my next weekend though!

Tried New Facial Product...

Pimples are starting to break out, again, all over my face 2 weeks ago. When my cousin saw it, she didn't hesitate to take me with her when she had her facial session. Some impurities we're pricked from my face. I just couldn't bear the pricking anymore! Grr!

Few days ago, my friend Lowela visited me in my room. I was amazed because her face is now blemish-free. I asked her what product she used, she told me it's IWhite Korea. I looked it up online and read a lot of positive consumer reviews. So yesterday, I went to the mall and purchased one for myself. The facial wash smells good and doesn't irritate my skin at all. I hope I'll see good results soon.

Keeping my fingers crossed! :D

A Date With Michelle And Friends... :D

After burning calories and doing my abs exercises at the the gym yesterday, I went to Boni High at Taguig City to meet up with my cousin Michelle and 2 of her office mates. I met them up at Contis Restaurant and was surprised with the delectable dishes that they've already ordered while waiting for me. There was a plate of Buffalo Wings, 4 plates of different Pasta, fish fillet with fries on the side and the yummy cake for dessert! Geez! Too bad I wasn't able to bring my camera with me. Anyway, I just couldn't help but give in to the tempting food right in front of me! LOL! I got a lot to burn at the gym on Monday.

Right after our BRUNCH, we went to Market Market and bought new clothes. I was able to buy a dress that I have been eying at a different mall. The price was cheaper at Market Market so I didn't hesitate to buy it for myseft! I'm excited to wear it later for Church service! :D

Michelle then brought me to a facial clinic. She also got worried about my pimples. They're growing on my face again. I'm a bit stressed out lately.

I can say that I splurged yesterday but the spending is all worth it! I've been working all week and have been very busy at Church lately. A little bit of spending sometimes can help forget about stress!

To say the least, I had a blast with Michelle and her friends! Looking forward to doing it again with them some other time! :D

A Little Miracle In Japan

We all heard about the tragedy that happened in Japan last week. Everyone may have seen how horrifying the tsunami was. Many have lost their lives. Some may have survived but the horror that they've experienced will forever be a scar in their lives.

There was this little miracle that somehow brought hope to the Japanese people. When this four month old baby was rescued from the rubble. Who could have imagined this little thing being able to escape death? According to the news, the baby was literally swept away from her parent's arms when the tidal wave came. The baby is now reunited with her parents. They must have been so happy and thankful that their little angel is safe.

Despite every tragedy, even just one miracle could light a candle of hope to a nation. Let's continue praying for them and do our share in helping the earthquake and tsunami victims in Japan!

God bless us all.

The Boys At Work Need Binoculars

We haven't really been doing much at work lately. We often sleep on our long breaks during our training. Some of us just play games on the computer and others just kill the time by chatting.

There are instances that some of our guys in the room does something silly. Right across from our training room is a condominium. There's this one condo unit where a girl lives. We knew that she's a girl because we basically can see her in her bedroom. She doesn't fully cover the glass window with a curtain or blinds. We don't know if she does that on purpose.

Whenever 5:00 am strikes, the guys are ready at the corner of the training room to take a look at the girl in the window dress up for work. Some of them are having a hard time seeing her and are in dire need of spotting scopes or binoculars so they can get a better view. Duh! Boys will always be boys, right?

I think the woman in the condo figured out that the boys have been watching her. She now turns the light off whenever she prepares for work in the morning. The boys were disappointed and we just can't stop laughing at them the first time the woman didn't have a light turned on in her bedroom. Too bad, boys! :P

Can I Extend My Weekend??? :(

We practised a song at Church yesterday that we're going to sing in our upcoming anniversary. The song was nice. I had a good time practising. But since I lack sleep yesterday, I was already not in the mood to really hang out with friends at Church after the practise. We had like a team building after the practise and was already antsy while participating on the activity. There were still a lot of things I need to accomplish back here in the apartment. I just can't leave so I tried to enjoy the activity. I was good on acting like I'm okay but I was really exhausted. I was so glad when we finished the activity and went home right away.

I was able to talk to my Mom before I went to sleep. I'm glad she's alright and she had a good time celebrating her birthday with friends. I told her to keep her phone turned on. I don't why my Mom don't understand how important it is to be able to talk to her whenever I can? Sigh. Anyway, she sounded happy while we we're talking on the phone. I had peace of mind after I've been able to talk to her and it helped me get a very good sleep last night.

It's Monday and it's back to work. Sigh. Can I extend my weekend???

Wanting To Go To A Spa...

Let's face it. Busy schedule somehow stress us out especially if we are unable to follow the schedule that we set up for the day. Even if you're able to manage your time and you did a lot work in a day, you still get stressed out and exhausted.

Whenever this happens to me, I always hope that the next day is going to be a total rest day for me. A visit to the spa could be the best cure for stress. I haven't been in a spa for a while. The cozy place that's equipped with various health treatments will definitely be satisfying. I so wanted to just relax in a clean hot tub because of a hot tub cover and get a good massage. Geez! I wish I can do that this weekend! I hope I won't be too busy though.

Can't Reach My Mom On Her Birthday...:(

Today is my Mother's birthday but I haven't talked to her over the phone yet. Her phone is unattended again. I have been trying to call her but to no avail. She's not at home according to my brother, she's not with my Aunts and she's also not with her friend today. I wonder where she is right now. I hope I'd be able to talk to her later today.

Wherever you are right now, Mother dear, I hope you're doing okay. I love you and Happy birthday Nanay! I hope you'll try to have fun today. I wish I'm with you. Sigh! You're always in my prayers, Nay! Mwaaah!

No Dress On First Pay? :(

I just got my first salary from my new job last week. I was quite pleased with the 1st salary. However I'm not able to enjoy my first pay because I have to pay my debt and some of my bills. Since I've been jobless for 3 weeks, my Mom lent me some of her money. :D It's pay time! As usual, I have to stick to my budget.

I was hoping I'd be able to buy a new dress from my pay. Unfortunately, I will have to wait for the next pay day. "Patience is a virtue", as the old saying goes. For now, I can content myself from viewing nice prom dresses online! :D

Will Be Seeing Michelle... :D

I chatted with my cousin Michelle yesterday. We were not able to see each other last week so we set another time to meet up. We talked about work and schedules and she also mentioned that her husband, Jon, is the one who handles their new business. It was like one of those franchise opportunities but it's a smaller business according to Michelle. I got excited about seeing what their new business was about. One of these days, I hope I'd be able to visit them in their home and also get the chance to check business out.

I miss my dear cousin and I'm excited to finally see her this coming Saturday! :D

Heart-Stopping Performance At Showtime

I was watching my favorite noon time show on TV- Showtime on ABS-CBN. The show makes everyone feel like they belong that's why I love it! The audience in the show are being called "madlang people". The hosts - Anne Curtis and Vhong Navarro are perfect for the show! As everyone knows, Vhong is a very good dancer and comedian while the gorgeous Anne, even though she's trying very hard to be a singer, everybody loves her! Juggy and Teddy are the rockista side-hosts who always introduce the contestants. And there's Kuya Kim who's trademark is providing trivia to everybody! :D

The show invites groups who can showcase their talents. They are being judged not only by the judges in the show but also by the madlang people.

The judges are being outcast if they are voted out by the madlang people by the end of the week except for Vice Ganda who basically is like the Master of the show. He/She (since he's gay! LOL!) make comments that will either make you laugh out loud or make you look up to him like he's some kind of a genius because he talks with sense as well. He makes sincere comments if he likes the performance and doesn't hesitate to criticize if he doesn't like it.

One of the group contestants today, the Yuri Crew, made everyone nervous when they did their heart-stopping stunt. With just one mistake, the show which is taking live on air might get suspended if the performance end up in a fatal accident. It was scary. But they won anyway. Vice Ganda told them not to do that stunt anymore on their next performance. He's right when he said that it wouldn't be worth it if something bad happens.

The show made me feel relaxed after a day's work. I hope I can watch it again tomorrow! :D

Start Saving For Own Car... :D

I just saw my friend's shout out on her Facebook wall asking for phone numbers for a car repair shop in where she's at. Glad to know that she now owns a car. We're just about the same age but she's a got a better job. Maybe next time I'll be able to see on her Facebook account posting about an rv repair or what not.

How I wish I also own a car. In that way, I'd be able to drive wherever I want . Although owning a car demands maintenance and all that expenses, I still want to be able to invest for that. I guess it's not too late. It's going to take a while but if I start saving money for it, I'd still be able to make that wish come true, right? :D

First Love Never Die (Friends' Love Story)

I met a couple back in high school who has a very nice love story. They were each other's first love. We were on our sophomore year when these couple fell in love. It was such a young love and was kept from the girl's dad because her dad doesn't want her to get involved in such a relationship at a very young age. It was funny because back then I was one of the few people who somehow helped them make their relationship work. There were exchanges of love letters which I delivered to them. That included flowers and other unique valentines day gifts too! They just don't get tired of exchanging love notes up until now! They're so vocal that they let the world know how much love they have for one another. They're not even ashamed to post love messages on their Facebook wall which a lot of people like myself get envious about! :D

They haven't married yet. The guy has to work abroad and the girl is in med school right now. They are working very hard for their future. In fact, they're together now for about 14 years! Can you believe that? I was surprised when I finally was able to get in touch with them that after all these years, they're still together! I hope they will tie the knot soon. If that will happen, I'll finally believe that first love never dies! :D

Sad News At Work

A very sad news about an employee at work was circulated via email this morning. One of our colleague who works in a different department got shot to death in a bus on his way home from work last Saturday morning. It was reported that he refused to give his money to the armed men who held up the bus. It was just frightening that something like this happened early in the morning in a public transportation vehicle.

I haven't met that colleague but I really feel sad about what happened to him. It must have been very devastating news to his loved ones.

I am also a commuter and there are times that I feel scared about getting involved in a hold-up situation. Before I go to work, I always say a prayer for my safety. The world is just getting worst everyday. Let's hope and pray that this wouldn't happen to anyone of us.

My deepest condolence to Ralen's family.

Favorite Workout Equipment

My favorite equipment at the gym is the treadmill. I can walk and run for 30 minutes and burn as much as 250 calories with just the treadmill. This equipment definitely helped me a lot on reaching my desired weight. From weighing 118 lbs., my weight is now down to 105 lbs. Isn't that an achievement? :D

The treadmills at the gym don't get me bored while I'm working out because it has a built-in television where you can watch whatever show you want. It's just funny because there are some people that watches a cooking show while they're working out. Of course it will showcase delicious food being cooked in a le creuset cookware. I'm pretty sure that after working out, they're going to head to the nearest restaurant to eat since the shows will make them crave for food. I really find it ironic. :D

As for me, I would rather watch some other shows than salivate on the delicacies in a cooking show. It definitely won't help me with my workout program.

Not Going Out This Saturday...

I'm still a bit shy at work. It was only last night that I bonded a bit with some of the guys. I went with them during our lunch break. They were cool and I had fun chatting with them while taking my lunch. I even got tempted smoking one cigarette. :D It won't happen again, I hope!

They invited me to go out with them after our shift on Saturday. I said I'll think about it but I guess I'm not really going. I don't want to be sitting in bar stools and just drink iced tea. It would be very ironic when all the other guys are drinking liquor. I don't drink and I don't like the taste of beer or any alcoholic drinks.

I better go home after shift on Saturday and finish all my personal errands. I'll just make myself productive at home and get a good rest! :D

What A Great Sunday!

I really wasn't able to get some sleep last night. I finished some online assignments and made updates on my 2 blogs. I went to Church early this morning and still wasn't feeling sleepy at all. I was able to listen attentively to the lesson being taught by the Minister during the worship service. I guess my body clock is already used to the graveyard shift.

I took part at the Pagsamba Ng Kabataan (it's our Sunday school for the kids) which was after our worship service. It's my second time to attend the PNK. It's a nice feeling being able to witness kids at their very young age being taught how to worship God. Most of them behave during the service.

I just love being able to join our Church activities. It makes me feel very close to our Almighty. It makes me all the more love my Faith and most especially our Almighty God.

I hope you had a great Sunday as well! :D

No Time To Watch A Movie.. :(

Doing movie marathon at home used to be my hobby. I used to finish like 10 movies in a day during my day off. That was the time when what I only do was work and stay at home. I don't blog at that time yet and I wasn't active in joining Church activities. I just go to Church during regular worship services and didn't even have friends in our Church locale. I was always excited to go home and watch movies from the DVDs I bought. I was even up to date with new movies and watch them in cinemas. If we only had a home theater with home speakers, I would've just downloaded the movies and watch them in the comfort of our apartment. :D

Since I'm really busy right now, I can hardly watch even the news on T.V. I don't even know what's going on with the world. Sigh. If I'm able to manage my time, I bet I can still get myself updated not only with the movies but most especially with the news... I hope I can do that. :D

Missing Glee's Match Airing Episodes.. :(

I'm a bit disappointed because I'm not able to watch my favorite shows anymore. I missed a lot of episodes of Glee Season 2. Although I still was able to watch the replays, it's different if you're one of those who are able to see it on the match-airing episodes. It's my fault anyway because I forget about watching it every Wednesday. I end up just sleeping until 4 or 5 o'clock in the afternoon.

The last episodes I was able to watch was the "Comeback" episode where Sam performed his version of Baby by Justin Bieber. I'm not a Bieber fan but I find him cute doing the Bieber hair and moves. LOL! Then he influenced the other guys in the club because the girls got all hyped with the Bieber fever so they end up singing "Somebody To Love" where Artie, even on a wheelchair with casters, looked cute on his Bieber moves.

I wasn't really paying attention on last week's episode "Blame It On The Alcohol" because I was at the same time online while watching T.V. Brittany was the only one who got my attention back to the T.V. set when she made her version of Kesha's song "Tik Tok". She's really good until she puked. Well, they were drinking alcohol before their performance, so...:D

I hope I'd be able to watch the replay of this week's episode. I hope I could catch one tomorrow.

The Sleeping Quarter... :D

My training isn't stressful anymore. I call our training room The Sleeping Quarter because we sleep most of the time over there. :D

Our shift starts at 10 o'clock in the evening. Our trainer comes in an hour late everyday so we still have 1 hour to sleep before she starts her class. After an hour of lecture, she gives us an hour for our first break, then 2 hours lecture, 2-3 hours for lunch break, an hour to lecture, another 1 hour for break, and a few minutes to do some exercises and then go home.:D

We easily catch up on whatever she teaches us so she gives us a lot of time to rest. I love it! We're all taking advantage of our training experience because we know for sure that it's not going to be this way when we get to the production floor.

We're just glad we have a training like this!

Dress Code At Work

My new job requires us to wear business casual attires four days in a week. I really don't have a lot of those outfits yet especially now that I lose weight. There are days that I end up wearing a dress at work. I still have to buy some more business outfits when I get my first pay.

The only day that we can wear casual attire is during Fridays. It's the day when I see our guys wearing parish clothing and the women on jeans including myself! It's the only day that I get really really comfortable with my sneakers on.

I am not complaining. I just hope that we will be given assigned lockers soon so I won't have to be bringing bulky bags whenever I go to work.

Thank God It's Friday! :D

Woohoo! Thank God it's Friday!

My work isn't that stressful at all. My trainer comes in the class an hour late everyday. She lectures for an hour or 2 and then we take long breaks. Most of us sleep during our breaks! :D I love it!

We just have to enjoy our the remaining weeks on training because it's not going to be like this when we get to the production floor. It's alright with me as long as I won't have to be taking numerous calls from irate customers everyday of my life! I just have to process orders for my customers this time! :D

Weekend, here I come!

Dream, Dream, Dream... :D

I always dream of living in a very cozy apartment which has a living room where I can put pretty decorations on, a dining room where I can cook, a bedroom where I can have a big comfy bed and a bathroom where I can set up my bathroom vanity. Sigh. I wish I can afford a place like this where I can proudly entertain my guests. It's just funny because I sometimes envision myself living at a condo unit, driving my own car and just living a luxurious life.

It's only a dream though. I'm hoping that I can make that dream come true! :D

My Bridesmaid Experience... :D

I haven't really been part of an entourage in a wedding until my cousin Michelle's wedding last December. It basically was my first time to be a bridesmaid so I made some preparations for it. For me not to choose from plus size bridesmaid dresses, I enrolled myself in a gym and tried so hard to loose weight. I got successful to say the least. My friends and relatives back in the province even got surprised when they saw me! :D I heard a lot of good comments from them.

I hope to become part of more weddings! Even if it's not mine, I wanted to be a bridesmaid again before I become 30 years old. :D
