I'm an everyday commuter here in Metro Manila. I bet you all can picture out the traffic going on here especially during rush hours. Thankfully, since I work nights, I seldom get trapped in agonizing traffic along EDSA. Unless there are several malls that go on sale. I always keep myself informed about that so that I can take a different route going to work. And that's riding the Metro Rail Transit (MRT). It will get me to the office in 10-15 minutes. A faster ride compared to getting on a Bus.
I normally take MRT when I go home from the office. My shift ends during the morning rush hour so I'd prefer riding the train. The only problem is, there are a lot of commuters on the MRT in the morning. Most of the time, I squeeze myself in on the train so that I can come home early. Or else I will have to wait until the MRT station is less crowded. I don't want to be pushed around while on queue sometimes. Anyway, I'm on my way home unlike the other passengers who brush their way from the crowd just to be on board the train. It takes a lot of energy to do that. I feel sorry for them.
There are a lot of stories I come across with as a commuter. I hope I can tell those stories on my blogs or create a separate blog about being a commuter here in Metro Manila. What about that? That is if I still have the energy to creat a new blog. :)
