Helping A Friend On Her New Business

A friend of mine at work, Mai2x, has been selling some must-have stuffs in the office. Recently, I bought a pair of flip-flops from her. She sells original Havaianas flip-flops in a cheaper price and allows her buyers to pay it in half's. Since I haven't own a pair of Havaianas yet, I opted to order from her.

I told her to create an account in Facebook for her business. She thought it was a good idea so she ended up doing it. That way, she will have more clients. Some people might be interested to purchase and have the items shipped to their homes. Mai2x should better think of better price for the shipment and also come up with a cool name for her business so she can put it on her return address labels if she sends the package. I better make another suggestion for her! :D

Be Like Quelly...

Racquel, whom we visited last week doesn't only own an auto supply store but also has a jeepney business. She doesn't sell jeepneys. She just have a driver rent it and make rounds routing some parts of Quezon City. She and her husband make a good deal of money out of it. Yet my friend still prefer to be firm on handling their money. She's not the type who buys whatever and whenever she wanted even if she can afford to do so. We tease her sometimes as being close-fisted but she's really just don't want to put her money to waste. She prefer buying stuffs on sale. I bet she also found the cheapest car insurance for her jeepneys and cars they own.

I really look up to her when it comes to making decisions and being gumptious on handling her businesses. I hope someday I can also have my own business and be as industrious as Quelly. :D That's a long time to look forward to.

Got Introduced to First Vita Plus

Yesterday after my work was done, a gay colleague who's also a good friend asked me out. He didn't tell me where our destination was. Although I already have a hint about where we were going. And I was right when we reached the building! He brought me in a place of a business opportunity. It's a networking business which I tried during my college days but didn't succeed because I didn't work as hard. Networking during that time with the company I signed up for was not really stable as well and the products were very expensive.

First Vita plus was introduced to me yesterday. It's a juice drink that has five vegetable components namely:

1. Moringa Oleifera (Moringa Leaves)

Scientific research has proven that these humble leaves are in fact a powerhouse of nutritional value. It can rebuild weak bones, enrich anemic blood and nourish breastfed babies. Ounce per ounce, it has the calcium of four glasses of milk, the vitamin C of seven oranges and the potassium of three bananas.

2. Capsicum Frutescens (Cilli Leaves)

The leaves are used as vegetable; an excellent source of calcium and iron, a good source of phosphorus and vitamins A and B.

It is an important gastrointestinal deoxidant and also serves as a stimulant, digestive, rubefacient, stomachic, sialagogue, alterative, antispasmodic, febrifugue and depurative.

3. Corchorus Olitorius (Saluyot)

Reported to be demulcent, deobstruent, diuretic, lactagogue, purgative and tonic, it may also be a remedy for aches and pains, dysentery, enteritis, fever and pectoral pains.

4. Amaranthus Spinosus (Uray)

It is a good expectorant and an effective astringent especially in stopping liquid bowels. Locally, it has been reported that a decoction of the root relieve one’s breathing from acute bronchitis.

5. Ipomoea Batatas (Talbos ng Kamote)

Its roots are high in calories and vitamin A and the leafy tops are eaten as vegetables. The tops, especially purplish ones are used for diabetes and the crushed leaves are applied to boils and acne.

All five vegetable components have different health benefits. I like the product since it is herbal and it is a product made here in the Philippines. More importantly, it's cheaper and I'm pretty sure that a lot of people would be interested to have a taste of this drink. I am quite interested on buying the product and see for myself how it works for my health. The business opportunity will follow.
