Remembering 9/11/2001

I'm watching the History Channel right now. It's this time of the year , 9/11, that people around the world, especially the citizens of the United States of America, remember the most horrific terrorist attack. It was 10 years ago, September 11, 2001 when the World Trade Center was destroyed. Both towers collapsed right in the very eyes of the horrified spectators.

History Channel is airing the dreadful event which will always be remembered. I can feel for those who were there. It must have been very devastating. A lot of innocent people died. Some lost their lives for trying to save others. I'm having goosebumps while watching the videos taken during the dreadful day.

It happened 10 years ago. it was quite a while but I know people will never forget the terror brought about by the 9/11 attack.

The Wedding (Jayson and Shane)

A week has passed after my homecoming. I've been too lazy and I know I owe you an update of what happened during my cousin's wedding last week.

All I can say is, it was indeed an amazing wedding! I can't believe that it was just a month of preparation! For me, it was perfect! Kudos to everyone who was behind the success of the wedding ceremony and reception. Especially to my beautiful and ever reliable cousin, Lainy! She's the sister of the groom and the one in-charge of everything about the wedding!

Posing with the wedding planner, Lainybelle!:D

Here are some of the photos taken on the event!

Congratulations to the newly wedded couple, Jayson and Shane! God bless! I love you both!

Makati Triangle Light Show...

My friend, Judith and I went to see the light show at Makati Triangle at 6pm this evening. They have this event at Makati Triangle every weekdays for the whole month of December. A lot of people go there (families with kids, basically) to witness the pretty light show. Although there were too many people at the area during that time, they don't seem to be very noisy. I even like the atmosphere. It was relaxing. Maybe because of the music being played or maybe the people were just patiently waiting for the light show to begin.

Anyway, here was the video taken from my digital camera. It was a nice experience being there, though! :D

Musikang Atin 2010

It's now 7:15 pm and I still haven't slept! :D I just watched the choir competition which is part of our Church's (Iglesia Ni Cristo) 2nd "Musikang Atin" annual celebration here in the District of Metro Manila South. I was supposed to be part of the choir, Malibay Chorale, that represented our locale. But because of my schedule at work and the acne attack, I did not continue in joining the chorale.

Brother Bien and his wife Sister Zeny, they are friends of mine here in our Church, fetched me around 4pm this afternoon. We went to Cuneta Astrodome to watch the competition. I was surprised because it's a very nice event. Some were even wearing gowns. The hosts were T.V. personalities of Net25 which is a dedicated channel for Iglesia Ni Cristo. Janice de Belen and Gladys, who are our sisters in faith, were there as judges for the competition.

If I just didn't have work today, I really wanted to stay longer. I love the songs that were presented on the earlier part of the show. Unfortunately, I have to leave because I still have work later on. I was able to watch our locale's chorale perform though. They are one of the finalists in the competition. They sang the song pretty well. I hope they will win.

I'm glad I went to the event and was able to hear great songs that were very well sang for God's glory! I love my Church even more! :D
