Broken String

My Kiddo borrowed my guitar last Sunday to use it for an activity we had at Church. The activity was called Music Kiddie wherein they taught kids at our church locale to play some music instruments. I was supposed to be one of the teachers but I didn't participate because I preferred sleeping at home. I'm too stubborn.

I still haven't checked my guitar when my boyfriend brought back to me. But he already told me that one of the strings is broken and that he bought a replacement for it. I can see that he was a bit worried that I might get mad about. I actually just didn't care. I have to replace all the strings on my guitar anyway because they haven't been replaced ever since I bought it about 4 years ago.

I didn't have time to take care and even play my guitar for a long time now. I just don't care about it that much anymore, I guess. Maybe because it's not one of those Parkwood Guitars? :) I don't know. Maybe I'm just too busy. I might find that love for playing the guitar some other time. Not now. I have a helluva lot of things to accomplish. :)

Try To Spend Time With My Guitar

I can't find the time to play my acoustic guitar anymore. My hands are always full with personal chores almost everyday of the week. When I get home, I'd just stare at my guitar. I can't dare to play it because I'd rather hit the sack. I'm always tired lately.

There are times that I miss being able to just chill at home and practice songs with my guitar. I just can't do that anymore. One of my friends is asking me if he can borrow my guitar for the meantime. I just can't say no but I really don't want to lend him my guitar. Although it's not a Squier type of guitar, I can't trust anyone else but myself in terms of taking care of my belonging. Besides, it's something that I really treasure.

I'll try to find time to play my guitar one of these days. There are a lot of beautiful songs that I wanted to play. I needed time to practice what I love to do the most once again.

Leave Me And My Guitar Alone, Will Ya???

A casual friend at Church is getting into my nerve lately. He keeps asking if I can lend him my guitar. Yeah, you could say I'm selfish but I really don't want to let him borrow it. It's a personal belonging and it's something that I really treasure. Besides, I don't trust him. I have made several excuses already because I don't want to hurt his feelings. But he just wouldn't leave me alone. Why couldn't he get it??? Grrr!

Me and my precious guitar... :D

How can I tell you that I don't want to lend you my guitar??? Leave me and my guitar alone, will ya???
