Money And Budgeting

For ordinary employees like myself, we are always excited about pay-days. We work hard for 8 hours a day and for 5 days in a week. Always looking forward to the next payout. When we get our pay, that's when we do budgeting because most of us, our salary is just enough to pay the bills, allowances and some other personal stuffs.

I always have a problem with sticking to my budget. Whenever need arises, sometimes I can't follow whatever I have written down on a piece of paper for budgeting. That's why, even though I'm single, I can't add some money to my savings account because I can't seem to help myself from spending.

I think I better cut down some unnecessary expenses so I can save some of my money. I don't want to be begging money from my Mom if ever I get sick or for whatever reason. If I'd be able to save or invest my money into something worth it like investing for annuities online, I'll be able to earn some more and save myself from poverty. LOL!

I don't want to regret in the future, that's all. :)

Excited About My First Pay Check

My most awaited day for this coming week is pay day! :D In just a few days, I'll be receiving my first pay check. I'm really excited. After few months of being jobless, I finally will be able to receive the fruits of my few days of labor. :D It's not that much yet but I'm hoping it's gonna be enough for me to survive for another 15 days. Sometimes I wish I've been employed at my current employer for quite a while now so I can ask for a payday loans because there are a lot of bills to pay. Well, I guess I'm gonna have to wait.

For now, I better stick to my budget for me not to run out of money before the pay day. I have to promise myself not to spend for something that I don't really need!

No Dress On First Pay? :(

I just got my first salary from my new job last week. I was quite pleased with the 1st salary. However I'm not able to enjoy my first pay because I have to pay my debt and some of my bills. Since I've been jobless for 3 weeks, my Mom lent me some of her money. :D It's pay time! As usual, I have to stick to my budget.

I was hoping I'd be able to buy a new dress from my pay. Unfortunately, I will have to wait for the next pay day. "Patience is a virtue", as the old saying goes. For now, I can content myself from viewing nice prom dresses online! :D

Start Saving For Own Car... :D

I just saw my friend's shout out on her Facebook wall asking for phone numbers for a car repair shop in where she's at. Glad to know that she now owns a car. We're just about the same age but she's a got a better job. Maybe next time I'll be able to see on her Facebook account posting about an rv repair or what not.

How I wish I also own a car. In that way, I'd be able to drive wherever I want . Although owning a car demands maintenance and all that expenses, I still want to be able to invest for that. I guess it's not too late. It's going to take a while but if I start saving money for it, I'd still be able to make that wish come true, right? :D

Money Matters...

As we grow older, it seems like there are a lot of things that we would like to consider. Things that we never thought of when we were younger.

When I was a kid, I used to just dream of traveling to different places and buy whatever I want to buy when I'm able to work. I got disappointed because when I'm already working, the money I earned is just enough for my personal necessities like paying my bills and buy my groceries. It's too seldom that I'm able to travel. I can't even shop extravagantly. LOL! Maybe I also don't really know how to properly manage my finances.

Now that I'm getting older, I'm learning to manage my finances. It's hard especially that I'm really not earning that much. I have to save for the future. Thanks to my Mom who have always been the voice inside my head. She used to always nag me about why I couldn't save some money just like her. She was even the one who helped me in choosing the right kind of insurance. If it wasn't for her, I really wouldn't think about putting some of my money for a life insurance.

We really don't know what the future holds. It's important that we are prepared financially whatever happens to us. :D

Spending Plans For Year-End Bonus

The year-end holidays are fast approaching. It's the time of the year when employees get to receive year-end bonuses. This is the time when gift giving and shopping is in the air! As for me and my workmates, we all have our individual plans on how to spend our bonuses. Some are planning to buy household appliances, some of us want to spend it for a luxurious vacation with their loved ones and friends, some wanted to spend it for gadgets such as camera, phones, I even heard someone say she wants to buy and ipad. She wanted to get a tablet computer for herself. She's just crazy about Apple technology, I guess. When she heard about a bigger touchscreen, she went gaga over it.

As for me, I'm attending my cousin's wedding this December back in the province. So I'm one of those who's going to spend my year-end bonus for homecoming. I still hope I can buy myself a camera though.

Money Earned, Money Spent

The money you earned from work basically just passes by that quick. Most of the money goes directly to bills you have to pay, to some, they have to pay for the debts they owe to some other people or they have to pay for their credit cards. Good thing for me, I don't have both. I make sure I don't borrow money as much as possible especially if there's percent interest on it. I'm also really not interested on credit cards. In fact, I even save some of the money I earned.

I have a pension plan that I pay monthly as well. Thank God I have a Mom who doesn't stop telling me about saving for my future. She also wanted me to get a separate health insurance plan like that of bcbsnc which has good health benefits for qualified applicants. I already told my Mom that my company has freebies like that. So I won't have to spend for the health insurance.

All in all, with the money that's left, I only have enough for me to go out sometime. I seldom buy something for myself. Only if I have extra bonuses or if I render over times at work. Sigh. I guess I have to consider applying for work overseas just so I would have plenty of money. Well, that will need a lot of thinking and planning. :D
