Daydreaming About My New Home

One of the plans my Mom have is to finally build a new house. She bought a piece of land here in GenSan and wanted a new home built on it. I love the plan. My brother is going to work abroad soon anyway. Hopefully he'd earn more money out there so that we would be able to make our dream come true.

I want the house to be 2-storey  with four or five rooms. A spacious kitchen and living room accessorized with plants from www.halltrees.com. Not too many of the plants will be elegant. Just enough of them. I would love to decorate and decide on paint to use. :D I'm getting excited already.

I better stop my daydreaming. :D

Planning On Owning A Dog

My friend Irene and I went to a pet shop few weeks ago. We went to see some cute dogs barking at us. Maybe they were telling us to take them home with us. :) Variety of dogs were there. I am actually thinking about buying one but I just can't afford it during that visit. If only I have the money and take one of the dogs that are caged in those pet crates from DogKennels.com home. I was really wanting to do that.

Anyway, I might shop for 1 of those cuddly cuties one of these days. I can just imagine the fun of taking care of a pet once again.

Summer 2012 Plan

Summer is fast approaching! I'm sure everyone have their own idea of a great and memorable summer vacation. Some of us may have already booked for a vacation in orlando hotels with family and loved ones. Some may have planned on going out of the country for a different and exciting summer experience.

As for me, my summer 2012 will be spent with Kido's family. They're bringing me along with them on their vacation in their province. I will get a chance to meet more of their relatives by then. :)

Original CD Collector WannaBe

When I was young, I thought about collecting original CDs of songs from my favorite artists. As I grew up, technology has definitely evolved. Now you can download your favorite songs online for free. It's nice but it's way better if you get the original ones instead. Not only will you be able to help the artists who worked very hard for the albums and songs and spent a lot of money in doing replications of their albums like how Disc2day.com cd duplication does. It must have been a disappointmet to them how some of their fans turn into pirating the songs they worked so hard for.

I am still up to collecting original albums but that will take a while, I guess. My salary is not yet enough for that kind of luxury. Maybe I can do that in the future. :)

A Better Me On 2012

It may seem that I ended my year broken hearted because of my previous post but don’t worry guys, I’m fine and feeling much better. Kido and I agreed to stay as friends and enjoy our company with each other until he figures out what he really wanted. Like I said in the previous post, he needed time to grow up. I just don’t think I can wait long enough. I got to be honest, I’m still hoping but I know myself better. I’ll just wait until I get tired which I know will not take much longer.

Anyway, I want to start a happy post this year. Let me tell you that I had fun spending time with Kido’s family on New Year’s Eve. I know it's funny. Yeah, I was there! :D I love his family. And I feel very much part of it already. Kido and I still looked like we’re a couple. His family didn’t have any idea that we’re not together anymore. I don’t know how they will feel if they’d know about what happened between us. I’ll leave it all to Kido. It wasn’t I who broke it off anyway.

Although I’m hoping that we’re going to be together again, I also have my own plans in case it will not happen anymore. I can make a new beginning – a much stronger me. I won’t look for somebody new after Kido. I’ll give myself another chance to enjoy being single again and make future plans without someone else. I’m used to this anyway. I’ve been independent for years. So I know that I’ll survive this heartbreak. :)

This year, I’m hoping to be happier. Even if I have to live alone again. I hope there will be better opportunities for me. I’ll focus on my career and my Church obligations and just enjoy life. I might go home to the province twice this year. I miss my family.

This year should be a new beginning for me. It's gonna be a better me on 2012! To find someone to love? I think I better wait until I’m ready.

Go For Career Advancement!

I just fill out a personal assessment form here at work few minutes ago. I felt exhausted when I was done with it. Of course, it's like filling up a resume that I still have to sell myself to my bosses. That I did a great job while I was in my probational period. Hopefully it will help me become a regular employee.

I remember just last week, there was a cascaded email to everybody about a higher job position. I wasn't interested right away because I'm not yet qualified. I wonder if the workload is like Case Management Manager Jobs which gives the lucky one higher salary. How would I know when I've already deleted the email when I got it. I didn't even care to read the attachment.

If ever I'll stay longer here at Emerson, I might try my luck on higher positions that's going to be offered to us. Who knows I'll get lucky enough and get the career advancement that I so want to achieve!

Well, it's a long way ahead though. I can wait and do my best at my present job!

Gadgets And French

I remember watching a funny advertisement about a guy who's trying to impress the girl he's dating. He made the girl think that he knows how to speak French when what he does all the while is get some of the words translated into French from the internet using his I-phone. The girl was overwhelmed that they can talk comfortably in French so she went on talking in French and the guy only replied "oui" which is pronounced as "wee" with an anxious face. LOL!

What I'd like to say right now is that I wish I have lots of de l'argent (money) so I can buy a new téléphone portable (celphone) or ordinateur portable (portable computer or laptop) or a Caméscopes numériques (digital video camera). LOL! I'm playing around with french! Seriously, I wish I have enough money to buy one of these gadgets. I guess I will have to wait until next year! :)

A Dream To Travel Abroad

A colleague of mine just got back from vacation. She spent few days with her friends in Singapore. She gave everybody in the team a Singapore-made key chain. How sweet of her to think about us on her vacay. I still haven't talked to her today because I guess she's very busy. I know she's got a lot of stories to tell about the grand vacation. I wonder if she her friends used a magellan gps while in Singapore, or did they ever get lost in the foreign country and had funny experiences. I can't wait to hear about it.

I also dream of being able to travel abroad, even just within Asia. I'm still broke right now so that will remain a dream until I'm able to save money for a grand trip abroad. I wonder who I'll be traveling with when that dream comes to reality. I hope it's going to be with someone special. :)

Money And Budgeting

For ordinary employees like myself, we are always excited about pay-days. We work hard for 8 hours a day and for 5 days in a week. Always looking forward to the next payout. When we get our pay, that's when we do budgeting because most of us, our salary is just enough to pay the bills, allowances and some other personal stuffs.

I always have a problem with sticking to my budget. Whenever need arises, sometimes I can't follow whatever I have written down on a piece of paper for budgeting. That's why, even though I'm single, I can't add some money to my savings account because I can't seem to help myself from spending.

I think I better cut down some unnecessary expenses so I can save some of my money. I don't want to be begging money from my Mom if ever I get sick or for whatever reason. If I'd be able to save or invest my money into something worth it like investing for annuities online, I'll be able to earn some more and save myself from poverty. LOL!

I don't want to regret in the future, that's all. :)

Always Caught In The Middle...

I'm now thinking twice about going home. Sigh. It's hard to leave friends here in Manila. It also feels like I have found my comfort zone here. I live right behind the our chapel and I am able to do my church obligations without the hazard of commuting. I have my own room and own rules. I will really miss being here when I'm back in GenSan.

I also have to take care of my things which I will have to bring with me when I move out of my apartment. I'm thinking selling some of my appliances so there wouldn't be too much things to pack. I don't have a samsung lcd yet but I'm planning to buy one when I'm settled in GenSan. I just have few appliances to sell. It will help me financially if I choose not to keep them.

The packing and the travel back to GenSan is making me feel tired just thinking about doing them. Not to mention the sadness that I'll feel once that day comes. Well, que sera, sera, whatever will be, will be. I really don' t know what to do with my life. I'm always caught in the middle.

That's some of the lyrics from Alicia Keys' song New York. I have heard this song several times and is actually one of my favorite! It makes me dream of how beautiful life would be if you live in New York City.

Who doesn't dream in going to New York City? Who wouldn't want to see the amazing landmarks like the Madison Square Garden, the famous Statue of Liberty, some beautiful parts of Manhattan and other beautiful places in NYC? It would be nice to experience New York Tours which will take you to places you've never been before. While learning the history of NYC, you're seated comfortably in a motor coach, fully escorted and will take you to different destinations and beautiful historic sites in NYC.

I have never been to NYC but I always dream of being able to get there. If only someone can get me a free ride! :D

A Dream House By Rohit Communities... :D

One of my goals in life is to be able to live in a beautiful house. A house that I can call my own. I want to have nice furnitures in it, it should at least have 3 bedrooms, has a cozy living and dining room and a kitchen that's equipped with everything I need. A patio would also be nice! :D

If I have the money to spend, I would hire an award winning firm that's going to take care of everything I want for my home. From planning to designing up to the construction of my home, I want it all taken care of by experts. One good example of that firm is one of the home builders in Edmonton, the Rohit Communities. They have hired the best people that can build nice family homes, apartment condos, town-homes and duplexes. In fact they have gathered multiple awards and was even named one of the Top Home Builders by Canadian Home Builder's Association in 2010. I know it's going to take years for me to make this dream come true. I should start setting my goals, I guess. I hope I can land on a job where I will earn a lot of money. I wouldn't wait very long to make this dream of mine come true!

A Little Bit Worried...

I got until Sunday to relax before I go back to job hunting. I really don't feel like staying at home because I'll just feel sad. If I only have a car with an suv bike rack, I would've gone biking somewhere else just to get my mind off from my current state of mind. LOL!

I'm actually a bit worried about what's going to happen next. My best friend knew about what happened and why I really have to quit my job. I wish she's here.

Some of my Church mates are inviting me to go swimming tonight. I think I better go and have some fun.

I hope to find a new job next week. I'll keep my fingers crossed. So help me God.

Wanted To Be In Baguio City This Summer...

Geez! I can definitely feel the summer time now! It's so hot! I don't feel like going out even if I have to. The heat is definitely on! Grr!

I really don't like it that much if it's this hot. I can't get proper sleep and I always crave for soda which is unhealthy.

All I really wanna do right now is to go to Baguio City to experience cool weather. I have a friend who lives there who keeps inviting me to come over to her place. I just didn't have time to do so. I would love to experience Baguio City again. The cold breeze, the green pastures. I just love it there. I would love to be at Camp John Hay wearing a pair of breeches and go horse back riding! That would be so much fun.

Unfortunately, I can't be anywhere else yet. I still have a week to go to work. Besides, I'd be out of budget if I go there. I have to prioritize my homecoming for my cousin's wedding this 30th of April. I might be able to squeeze the Baguio City trip in May, I hope!

Wanting To Go To A Spa...

Let's face it. Busy schedule somehow stress us out especially if we are unable to follow the schedule that we set up for the day. Even if you're able to manage your time and you did a lot work in a day, you still get stressed out and exhausted.

Whenever this happens to me, I always hope that the next day is going to be a total rest day for me. A visit to the spa could be the best cure for stress. I haven't been in a spa for a while. The cozy place that's equipped with various health treatments will definitely be satisfying. I so wanted to just relax in a clean hot tub because of a hot tub cover and get a good massage. Geez! I wish I can do that this weekend! I hope I won't be too busy though.

Will Be Seeing Michelle... :D

I chatted with my cousin Michelle yesterday. We were not able to see each other last week so we set another time to meet up. We talked about work and schedules and she also mentioned that her husband, Jon, is the one who handles their new business. It was like one of those franchise opportunities but it's a smaller business according to Michelle. I got excited about seeing what their new business was about. One of these days, I hope I'd be able to visit them in their home and also get the chance to check business out.

I miss my dear cousin and I'm excited to finally see her this coming Saturday! :D

Start Saving For Own Car... :D

I just saw my friend's shout out on her Facebook wall asking for phone numbers for a car repair shop in where she's at. Glad to know that she now owns a car. We're just about the same age but she's a got a better job. Maybe next time I'll be able to see on her Facebook account posting about an rv repair or what not.

How I wish I also own a car. In that way, I'd be able to drive wherever I want . Although owning a car demands maintenance and all that expenses, I still want to be able to invest for that. I guess it's not too late. It's going to take a while but if I start saving money for it, I'd still be able to make that wish come true, right? :D
