The Watch Will Have To Wait

I'm sick again. This time, I got swollen tonsils, cough and on/off fever. I hate going to the doctor because it will mean I will have to spend money for the medications. But I don't have a choice. :( I was planning to buy a good watch like that of citizen watch. I will have to postpone that. Tonsillitis can be deadly if it's not cured right away.

I have a friend who died recently because of tonsillitis. He's only 23 years old, an only child in his family. He self-medicated for 2 weeks and did not care to check with his doctor. It was too late for the doctors to save him when he was brought to the hospital. There were already complications on his internal organs. He died after few hours. I remember the last time I hang out with him was during my cousin Michelle's wedding. He was fun guy. Too bad he died at a very young age.

That is the reason why I'm pretty cautious about this ailment. Whenever I feel that my tonsils are swollen, I always check with my doctor to get proper medication which I will have to do after today's shift at work. The watch will have to wait. :)

The Pain Of Having UTI

I was in so much pain last night. My abdomen really hurt. I had problems urinating the past few days but I thought it wasn't a big deal. Until last night, my abdomen and lower back hurt so bad. I can barely move. I called friends over the phone but most of them live far from where I am. Thank God I was able to contact a friend who lives nearby. He helped me up and brought me to the hospital.

The Emergency Room wasn't very busy so we were attended by the nurses as soon as we got there. There were questions and they performed a urine test which only took an hour. My friend, Rijim, kept making laugh even though I was in pain. He was just being silly. But it helped. When the medicine for the pain worked, I found myself just laughing with Rijim and listening to his stories for an hour. I was glad he was there.

We went home right after the lab test result was read to us by the doctor. The findings was Urinary Tract Infection which wasn't in my medical history yet. Now I have it and suffering from it because of not eating the right food. I've been eating a lot of junk foods lately and kept drinking soda. Sigh.

Anyway, I was again suffering back pain when we got home. I thought I couldn't sleep. Thanks to my friend for buying all the medicines I needed and for staying for a while to make sure I'm okay. I went to sleep eventually and woke up as if I haven't gone through the pain I had few hours back.

Now I'll be taking antibiotics for a week. It sucks! But I don't have a choice. I don't want to go through that pain anymore! It hurt really bad!

Sick Again...

I'm sick since yesterday. My tonsils were swelling and my head really hurt. Too bad I wasn't able to go to the gym today. Sigh! I hope I'd feel better tomorrow. I have a lot of things to do. Grr! This is how I end up after days of deprived sleep and getting all stressed out. I knew this will happen.

I hate being sickly because I live alone. I miss my brother. He and his wife were here the last time I was sick. I have no choice but to take care of myself. Sigh.

Feeling Sick But Hoping To Get Better... :(

I feel sick! I don't have fever but I've been feeling dizzy after Church this morning. I thought a power nap will make me feel better, but it didn't. I have to pay my bills this morning so I went out even though my head was throbbing. I felt better though when I drank my favorite Frappuccino Grande at Starbucks! :D

Then I bought some groceries at the mall. I felt sick again when I went back home. Sigh. I hope I will feel better tomorrow. I better give me some sleep now. I haven't gone to the gym for 2 succeeding days. I feel fat and sick. :(

Rainy Days and A Bad Flu... :(

It has been raining cats and dogs. As expected, with my weak immune system, I usually get sick during rainy seasons. I don't have a choice but to stay home all day and blog and watch my favorite TV shows. I hope I won't get so sick though.

My best friend Czarina is back here in Manila. I went to see her the other day at Robinson's Mall. We watched a movie, chatted for a while and went home afterward. I was really not in the mood because of my flu.

It's still raining hard outside. I envy the kids who get to enjoy playing in the rain. They seem to not care about getting sick. I wish I can be like them once again. Darn! I miss being a kid! :D

The Result Of Not Taking Vitamins...

Just a week of not taking vitamin C, I am now suffering from flu. My body resistance have really dropped and whenever I fail to take Vitamin C, I always get sick. I won't wait this time for this flu to get worst. I'm going to buy medicines and Vitamins as soon as I get out here from the office. This is what I get for not taking my daily dose of vitamins. Sigh. I should take it daily like how pregnant women take their prenatal vitamins. LOL!

I brought my laptop again here at work to be able to work on my blogs. I still don't have news about when my DSL gets installed which is really frustrating. Nah! I'm not going to think too much about it because the more disappointed I get. :)

My cousin Lainy just recommended a medicine for my flu. Thanks Te, I'll buy one later. I hope this flu won't take it's toll on me. I can't be sick. Not yet! :D

Not TB But WHAT???

Yahoo! I'm TUBERCULOSIS FREE!!! LOL!

BUT...... My doctor said it could be asthma! Awww man! Just when I thought I don't need to worry anymore. When he checked my back and chest with his stethoscope, he heard some whistling, or whatever they call it. I think it was just my phlegm trying to get his attention. He still wanted me to get an asthma test and I had it scheduled tomorrow. Sigh. When will my lungs get healthier again???

I Hate Being Sick!!!

I'm sick again. I had flu the previous weeks and now came down to dry cough. I didn't have fever, which was good but my disturbing cough is really embarrassing. I don't want to incur absences at work so despite being anxious about my cough, I still did go to work this week. I bet my colleagues were already irritated with my cough. What can I do? I can't help but bark like a dog at work! I'm glad it was our last day of work week yesterday. I was able to get a lot of sleep last night.

I'm tired of taking medicines but I don't have a choice. The taste of medicines suck! I'll get the result of my x-ray later today. I'm hoping it won't be bad news. I hope it's not tuberculosis again. Geez! Or else, it's another 6 months or so of medicine intake.

I hate being sick! It really sucks!

I Wish I Wasn't Sick

About to move out but I haven't even gone to my internet provider's business office to inform them to get my internet and phone transferred to my new address. This move out is really a hassle, you know. I'm worried that I won't be able to do my dropping chores because of not having internet connection for few days or more. I'm planning to go tomorrow. I can't do it today since I'd go to the doctor today because of my sickness. Sigh!

My landlady on the new address already cleaned the room and changed the floor linoleum since I can't afford to buy copper tile flooring for it yet. Gotta save a lot of money for that. Lol! My brother, Florante, is going to move in with me soon. He's going to look for job here in Manila.

A lot is really happening lately. I wish I wasn't sick.

Sick Again...

I'm sick again. I was not feeling well since yesterday and thought I just needed to get enough sleep last night which I did. I slept early and actually had more than 8 hours of sleep but I already got fever when I woke up. The fever is incorporated with hard cough and flu. Sigh.

I was supposed to go to work today on my rest day since they offered over time pay. Too bad I wasn't able to make it. I don't want to go to the doctor anymore. I lost my health card and I don't want to go through the hassle of waiting in line to get an appointment with a doctor. Should I get a whole life insurance now? Lol! I'm going to get one though when I'm ready.

I'm supposed to enjoy my rest day but I'm sick. Hopefully I'm not gonna be stuck in my room this New Year's Eve. I better start self medicating. Sigh.
